How do I start my first campaign?

What's the difference between a 'goal' and a 'campaign'?

A goal (or 'plan') is the business outcome you want — e.g. 'fill 200 webinar seats next month'. Crystl AI breaks each goal into one or more campaigns (webinar, ebook, retargeting…) that ladder up to the goal.

Where does the AI get its context from?

Settings → Knowledge base, Lead magnets, and Brand voice are pulled into every prompt. The more you add, the more on-brand and grounded the output becomes.

How do variations work?

Every asset ships with 3 variations testing genuinely different psychological angles (urgency, outcome, pain, authority, story). You compare them, pick a winner, and Crystl AI uses the result to inform the next generation.

Can I edit generated content?

Yes. Every variation is fully editable. You can also add manual performance numbers in the History tab to feed the optimization run.

How do I run an optimization round?

Open a campaign → click 'Optimize'. Crystl AI reviews current variations + performance and produces the next generation grounded in what's working.

Does Crystl AI make up statistics?

Accepted Answer

No. The grounding layer only uses claims that come from your uploaded knowledge or approved sources. If proof is missing, the AI flags it instead of inventing numbers.

What file types can I upload to the knowledge base?

Plain-text formats (.txt, .md, .csv, .json, .html) up to 1 MB each. We also accept URLs and pasted text. Crystl AI extracts ICPs, pains, positioning, proof, and existing assets automatically.

Can I export campaigns for stakeholders?

Yes — every campaign has a CSV/PDF export from the History and Assets tabs. Source attribution is included in PDF exports.

How do I delete a campaign or goal?

Settings → Campaigns dashboard. Select one or more and use Bulk delete, or delete individually from the row menu.

Is my data private?

Yes. Every workspace's data is scoped to its owner via row-level security. We never share campaign content across accounts. See the Privacy policy for details.
